One you have registered, you will receive a simple non-exclusive licensing agreement that gives us the right to use your music on our CD. Please be assured that this is a very limited license and will not prevent you from entering into any other agreements concerning this music.

How will your CDs be used?
Our CDs will be used primarily for promotional & retail purposes since we 1) donate %2-%5 of each sale to a foundation of our choice and 2) participate in profit-sharing. Inclusively, our goal is to offer widespread exposure of your music to record labels, publishers, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, and on-line.
What percentage will I be paid?
There is no set percentage. How it works: %2 of the sales is donated to our selected foundation. After all expenses (that were not covered by the artist/band fees) have been recouped for manufacturing, the sum is then divided between the participating artists/bands and Muzik Meka.
Do you offer status reports?
Yes! On the 1st of each month you will receive via e-mail, a status report for the sales and promotions of the CD you are featured on.
What type of gurantee do you offer?
We cannot guarantee the success of a CD. However, we can guarantee that if we terminate our project, you'll receive a FULL refund and all agreements will be voided.
What form of payments do you accept?
At this time, we only accept payment via personal checks and money orders. Payments must be received before order registration begins. All payment must be in $US. Orders paid by personal check may require an additional 10 days for clearance. Orders paid by domestic or international money order will be processed immediately. All checks must be drawn on U.S. banks. We cannot accept Eurochecks, nor any checks drawn on non-US banks. All checks must have numeric computer-readable processing information printed along the bottom margin of the check. We recommend payment by postal or international money order for the fastest service.

Cancellations and Refunds
If there is something we can do for you or if you are not happy with our project let us know what we can do to help! Often times it's a simple matter of helping you understand or explaining how how we work. There is no other cost effective way to get exposure or earn money from your music, so why not give us another chance? Please tell us what's wrong and we'll do our best to help! If you've made up your mind to cancel, we're sorry to see you go. Here's the info you'll need to succesfully cancel your registration: You must complete our cancellation form. Once we receive your request we will verify your account and email you with the details and confirm your desire to discontinue your registration. If you have registered for the "profit-sharing" option, your requests MUST be received wihtin 30 days of the registration date incur. SORRY BUT NO REFUNDS ARE PROVIDED AFTER 30 DAYS DUE TO PRINTING, PROJECT SCHEDULING AND COMMITMENTS. If you have registered for the "consultation" or "label-affiliation" option, there is no time limit for cancellation unless, you have ordered barcodes. There are no refunds on barcodes items, only reprints if there was a mistake on "our" part. All cancellation requests incur a %10 administrative fee.

Do you accept artists/bands signed with another label?
Only if you are under a NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSING AGREEMENT that will not prevent you from entering into any other agreements concerning your music. No COURTESY AGREEMENTS are accepted, neither are PUBLISHED artists unless the SONG you are submitting is not.
How many CDs will be pressed?
We initially press 3,000 CDs but there are times (although rare) when we feature an artist/band that has been issued a MECHANICAL USE LICENSE with a limitation of 2,500 copies. Should the CD reach popularity and more copies are demanded, that artist/band must reapply for a whole new license. Reproduction will then be based on the new limitation. A total of $100 may be requested from each artist/band to assist with reproduction costs. If you desire additional copies of your own, you must submit to us a REPRODUCTION AUTHORIZATION form signed by each participating artist/band and pay reproduction costs. IMPORTANT!! - If required, a new MECHANICAL LICENSE (along with the REPRODUCTION AUTHORIZATION form) must be submitted BEFORE additional CDs can be pressed. If all participating artists/bands should want additional copies, the REPRODUCTION AGREEMENT form is not necessary and perhaps you can all split the cost of reproduction.

How many artists/bands are usually featured on your CDs?
The number ranges from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 18. It mostly depends on how much great material we receive. If the decision process becomes difficult because we have too many to choose from, we usually like to reserve some for our next release.
